Riviera maya
We can definitely say that Mexico is one of the best vacations to go to. From the history ruins to excursions, Mexico offers a variety of choices. Even if you're not a heavy adventurer, there's always something for everyone! And this makes your trip an unforgettable one!
Riviera Maya was one of the first trips I went to Mexico back in 2010 with my family. We heard so much about it so we decided to spend our summer vacation at a five-star hotel with all inclusive, Barcelona. Based from my experiences, the people are really nice and they speak English. We rented a car which was a really nice one and it wasn't one of those cars where it made loud noises so that was a nice touch and was welcomed.
After we checked in and settled in, we would do what we would always do whenever we go somewhere new; explore more of our hotel and see how things are. The swimming pool was large and really cute and the water was warm. The weather was nice but we also had rain but that didn't stop us from going to the pool as the rain wasn't cold; it was a bit warm as well as the water of the pool. We went in June but we did had sun considering I got sun burnt....I'm really pale so of course I would have a sun burn! But I did got a tan which was nice.
Typically around afternoon, there would be small fun contests such as a dancing contest which I'd won and brought some keychains of the prizes that I had. At night, there was a concert which we went to but we didn't stay very long since we had a tiring day. It was so tiring that in fact, I almost stepped on a snake--true fact!
But the snake was pretty. It was black with dull rainbow scales. Oops!
Luckily, my sister called out my name where I just in time I avoided on actually stepping on the snake! But of course, my mom saw the slithering creature and she screamed. She. Hates. Snakes. Now, I don't know who was more frightened: the snake or my mom. Because the minute she screamed, the poor snake slithered back to where it came from.
Which is pretty ironic and funny because my mom is a snake in Chinese zodiac...
Sometime near the end of our trip, we decided to do a small excursion. My mom didn't went so it was only my dad, my sister and I. Our excursion were to ride and see dolphins and I had so much fun! The dolphins were so cute and sweet! Even though one of them hit my leg with their fin which was painful. They were also really pretty! I love dolphins so much!
And of course, by the time we packed away since our trip ended, the weather started to become nice and really warm. Like really? Sure we had decent weather but like really?
