Okay, so that's pretty much all the mangas that actually captured my attention which isn't very much. Maybe because I'm being limited to my manga selection since I'm only interested in reading the magical girl genre but I'm willing to give a new genre a shot if the plot is interesting and up on the list, there's a few mangas that aren't magical girl genre. What are your interest in Manga? What are you excited about?

3/4/2019 0 Comments Mangas to read 2019Okay, so I'm a sucker for Mangas and animes. They're just so fun to read and adorable. I'm especially a sucker for magical girl genre. Haha.
1) Sailor Moon Eternal Edition by Naoko Takeuchi (Okay, I can't get enough of Sailor Moon. It's honestly one of the best mangas I ever read. If you haven't watched the anime, I suggest you go and watch it! I'm so lucky I grew up with it. There is the 90s and the reboot that's called Sailor Moon Crystal which follows the manga) 2) Phantom Thief Jeanne by Arina Tanemura (Another fantastic manga. It's also a magical girl story but with a much darker tone to it. Maybe just a bit more darker than Sailor Moon. There's also an anime to it.) 3) The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Volume five by Akira Himekawa (So, this one is a manga but there isn't an anime. It's based off the video game which I adore! Link is soooo cuteeee and I thought he was sooooo hot in Twilight Princess. #thosedemabs like dayummmm. AND I'M EXCITED FOR THE VOLUME FIVE WHICH IS BEING RELEASED IN JULY 9, 2019!!! OHMIGAWDDD!!!) 4) The Kiss of a Rose Princess by Aya Shouoto (This one isn't really a magical girl genre but it's still a cute and funny manga. Unfortunately, there's no anime to it but you should definitely give it a read!) 5) Circlet Princess by Nachi Kio (Okay so for this one, I don't really know about but it looks super interesting and really cool. There's an anime adaptation which already got released on January 8, 2019 so it should be a fun read. I'll get more of anime later on another section) 6) Saint Seiya: Saintia Shou by Chimaki Kuori (So, I've recently started watching the anime and it looks pretty cool so far. It's heavily based on the bible of Adam and Eve and the apple and the Garden of Eden and I always liked those kind of stories so I thought I would give this one a go. Of course, I do want to read the manga since I feel like the anime is lacking depth and I couldn't really connect with the characters. So, hopefully, the manga will do justice!) 7) Oh My Goddess! or Ah! My Goddess! by Kōsuke Fujishima (I did watch the anime a while back but not the manga which I really want to. I did got bored a little bit with the anime but I'm willingly want to give it another chance) 8) Kamikamikaeshi by Ema Toyama 9) Magic Knight Rayearth by CLAMP 10) Tokyo Mew Mew by Reiko Yoshida (Honestly, I remember watching this and at first I thought it was weird but now I think that it was cute. I do have the mangas but I haven't finished it yet) And there you have it! Those are some of my mangas that I like to read or to start reading. What your favorite mangas? |
