2/21/2019 0 Comments book goals of 2019We all have certain goals to reach. Whether to be more active on whatever you need to be, exercise more, eat better, to do more volunteer work, (mom: to get off YouTube Me: AHAHAHA good one, mom) to stop cutting paper cuts (especially on the middle finger because it is really difficult to type just like now) and whatever the goals you want.
My goal? Is to read more books. Which I find it funny because, in all honesty, back in the days, I wasn't much of a reader. At. All. So that's why this whole bookstagramming and making a blog surprised me to be honest. And even though, it is time-consuming, I just like to type. To write. So, that being said though, my book goal for the year is to read 100 books by the end of the year. I'm taking it slow as I'm not a fast reader and so far, I've read only nine books which makes me a sad lady but only because I've been busy doing with my two jobs and plus writing my novel which is currently in the editing stage. Regardless though, I'm sure the book goals would change over the time so I'm definitely excited about that! I'm mostly reading in the Fantasy genre as I love the genre so much! But when I read though, I do like to be engrossed in all of the surroundings of what the author had created for us, to be absorbed in the world, to understand the characters and the plot and just to enjoy the story in general. It's more fun that way than to read so fast that you forget what actually happened in the book. Don't get me wrong: there are people who read fast and yet they remember what happened in the plot...so congrats to them! What your books goals for this year? Did you achieve them? Or are you starting to?
