BOOK UNHAUL 2020
Okay, so. This is kind of like a love-hate relationship but also... this is my FIRST BOOK UNHAUL! YAY! I'm so excited! But I'm sorry that unhaul isn't awesome and it looks pathetic lmao but it's getting there, lol. But anyways! Let's get going!
1) The Modern Faerie Tales by Holly Black
Okay so....I actually haven't read this book but I remember reading one of the books which I believe it's called The Darkest Part of the Forest by Holly Black and I hated that book. Thank Goodness that I listened to it on audiobook and when I was reading a third of the book, I kept rolling my eyes. I just didn't like it. I hated it. So, it seems Holly and I will part ways because I probably will never pick up another Holly Black. Sorry.
2) Spinning Silver by Naomi Novik
Another book that I absolutely hate. I loved the world building but it sucked that the book didn't do anything for me. I hated the main character and it was confusing. I just hated the book. Goodness.
3) Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard
Do I really need to explain this book? I'm sorry but I really don't like this book. I read up until Chapter 20 before I gave up. I thought it would be better but it wasn't. Ugh. I just hated this book. I'm sorry but I will not continuing this series.
4) Red Rising By Pierce Brown
Another book I really dislike. Wow, I dislike/hate books so much. Maybe I should try reading a different genre, lmao. I don't know guys. I just really don't like this book at all. If you want to know more about it, I've done a review under the Wrap-up. Go to Books tab and find the Wrap-Up.
5) Bared to You by Sylvia Day
So this book was actually alright but it wasn't my cup of tea. I thought I would like it more than Fifty Shades of Grey but ended up not. Erotica is just not my genre, lol. I will not be continuing the series.
6) The Invisible Library by Genevieve Cogman
So this book was actually really cool but until half of the book. I don't know what is with books and being ruined by halfway point. It sucks. And to be honest, I actually bought because it has the word 'library' on it. Oops. But anyway....the world building was cool and all; the characters I didn't mind. Irene was pretty cool but it just didn't left me hooked, unfortunately. I will not continuing this series apparently, there's a book 7...
7) Caraval by Stephanie Garber
Uhh….I think it's safe to say that almost everyone hated this book. But I did enjoy it though. I gave it a four star so that was cool but there were some moments where I rolled my eyes. Even though, I brought the second book because secretly, I'm hoping that it will be better than the first book which is why I'm giving it away.
8) Cinder by Marissa Meyer
I know pretty much nearly everyone liked this book but I didn't. It was a struggle to get through and I finally gave up. I think it was around Chapter 8? I don't know. It just didn't worked out for me, unfortunately. I will not be continuing this series.
And there you have it! If your favorite book is on this list, I'm sorry! Please don't hate me too badly, lol. But I really did try though and I'm sorry :/ I usually tend to stay away from popular books because I know most of them would be a let down.
